Terms of Service
Effective date: June 29, 2026 · Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LIDIA, an AI scheduling assistant ("LIDIA", "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
LIDIA connects to your Google Calendar to read your availability, negotiate meeting times on your behalf, and create calendar events that you approve. Features include availability negotiation, a meeting-load score, daily briefings, and scheduling suggestions. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your authentication credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and authorize LIDIA to access only the Google data you intend to share.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Do not use the Service to send spam, harass others, or schedule meetings without a legitimate purpose.
- Do not interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure.
4. Your data & Google permissions
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You grant LIDIA permission to access your Google Calendar data through the scopes you approve, solely to provide the Service. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by disconnecting your calendar within LIDIA.
5. AI-generated content
LIDIA uses AI to interpret requests and draft messages and proposals. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing meetings and events before relying on them. LIDIA is a scheduling aid, not a substitute for your own judgment.
6. Availability & changes
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and we may impose limits on certain features. We are currently offered free of charge; if we introduce paid plans, we will give notice before any charges apply to you.
7. Intellectual property
LIDIA and its software, design, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. You retain ownership of your own data and content.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduling decisions will always be correct.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIDIA AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR MEETINGS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LIDIA and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm. On termination, the data-handling described in our Privacy Policy applies.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uruguay, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts located there, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
